Jim Hallowell loves coastal areas. He was raised on the Southern California Coast in the City of Ventura, and has always preferred to live near the ocean. "It s in my blood", Jim says. Jim has a degree in Finance from Eastern Michigan University, with over twenty years of combined experience in financial management, sales, and marketing. He has 10 years of experience working in the public sector with the Florida Lottery, and over 17 years of experience in the private sector, as Controller for a Retail Corporation, as well as experience in Life and Health Insurance Sales. He has lived in Florida since 1984, and has been a Wakulla County resident since 1994. "I am team oriented and very competitive", says the former college baseball player. Jim's hobbies include sports, gardening, and reading. He also loves to travel, especially to visit his three children, all of whom live out of state. Jim is a member of Crawfordville United Methodist Church, and is a big fan of Wakulla County and the surrounding area.
